Intern and Community Amplifier - TEDxEQChCh

Becca has just finished her BA in Media Studies, Communications and Political Science at the University of Canterbury and cannot wait to get a “grown up job”.

Over the last couple of years as Christchurch has been dealing with the aftermath of the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes, Becca has come to realise the importance of communications in giving people a voice, and helping them to be heard.

To date, this has led Becca to being appointed as the intern for the 2012 TEDxEQChCh conference, to be held in Christchurch on September 1 2012.

Becca will share her perspective as a young person who has grown up digital, but in a direction she never expected.
